Bugatti will unveil the fifth and penultimate car in its six-part Legends Series – the Black Bess – at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. The new car is meant to pay tribute to the old Bugatti Type 18, but it is actually based on a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.
Like the other Bugattis in the Legends Series, the Black Bess will come with an 8-litre W16 engine, 1184 brake horsepower and top speed of 254 miles per hour, which effectively puts it above every single convertible in the world in terms of speed. As a result, the car will cost over two million euros, so if you can only afford a Ford Focus, then this is unlikely to be your cup of tea.
The Beijing Auto Show will take place between April 21 and 29, but the press will get their first look on April 20.
