Did you know that American movies are littered with Canadian cars? Believe it or not, Hollywood loves Canada!

British Columbia and Ontario are particularly popular among movie producers and directors, with Vancouver and Toronto serving as backdrops for many movies, including X-Men and Mean Girls. As a result, the presence of cars from Canada is unavoidable. If you have a good eye for vehicle brands, you can easily spot the AM General Humvee in 2008’s Incredible Hulk and 2002 Lexus SC 430 in Mean Girls.

And if you’re not from Ontario or British Columbia – don’t worry. Hollywood hasn’t left the other provinces by the wayside either. For instance, the entire 36-day production of Capote has taken place in Winnipeg, Manitoba. [Tweet This] So yes, that 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air with its Ferrari-inspired grille and V8 engine is from our native land of Canada too, described appropriately by GM as the “Hot One.”
