Lincoln is taking the next step in redefining the brand by introducing all-new Black Label models, which will add luxury touches and designs to the cabin along with exclusive dealer services.
Sales are on the rise for Lincoln vehicles thanks to the latest MKZ and first-ever MKC crossover, so it’s only fitting that the next step is finding a way to add exclusivity and more luxury to the models.
The Black Label cars will feature more luxury details, materials and surfaces. The seats, door panels and armrests are covered in Venetian leather; the dash, console and door panels are all wrapped in leather and stitched; and exotic wood trim can be found throughout.
Initially, there will be four different design themes available, with more options to follow. The original themes offered will be: Indulgence, Centre Stage, Modern Heritage and Oasis. The Indulgence theme is inspired by chocolate, and features rich browns in the cabin. The Centre Stage theme is all about the dramatic look with a jet-black cabin and red accent stitching. Modern Heritage puts a contemporary spin on traditional black and white. Finally, the Oasis theme offers a more peaceful and warm environment with a two-tone beige and brown look.
Most of the details are in the cabin of the Lincoln Black Label models, but there are a few subtle exterior upgrades. There is a special Lincoln insignia on the centre wheel caps with specific wheel designs. There are also special exterior paint colours.
The Black Label models also come with a very exclusive and personalized car buying and ownership experience. A trained Black Label representative will meet the potential buyer at their home, office or anywhere within about 50 kilometres of the dealership. The rep will come equipped with paint chips, material swatches, wood trim samples and a tablet with the whole presentation. At the dealership, there are dedicated Black Label floor space and staff members.
The Black Label models also come with a four-year or 50,000-mile extended premium service and maintenance warranty. It covers often-excluded parts such as shocks, engine belts, hoses, brake pads, wiper blades and spark plugs. When the vehicle is in for a covered repair, a rental car will be provided at no cost. Additionally, owners get to enjoy an annual full vehicle detailing and anytime car washes. There is also a culinary collection membership, which provides owners access to a list of restaurants throughout the United States for exclusive dining experiences.
The Black Label package and all that comes with it is available for an additional cost of $5,995 USD on top of the base price of the vehicle. These exclusive models will launch in 32 dealerships throughout California, Florida, Texas, New York and Michigan in December and will roll out to other markets in mid-2015.
