Mazda Motor Corp has started a second recall for Mazda6 sedans thanks to a gasoline-loving spider that weaves a web inside a vent in the engine, which restricts fuel flow. The manufacturer has notified the U.S. regulators that 42,000 sedans with 2.5-litre engines are being recalled and that their model years range from 2010 to 2012.
This blockage does not occur in other Mazda models and afflicts only the cars built at a plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. Luckily, the company has not produced a car at the plant since August 2012.
