The 2015 Honda Accord boasts superior fuel economy, refined performance, plenty of room and lots of features; it’s no wonder it gets so much love from automotive critics and family-oriented drivers alike.
After years and years of delivering reliable, top-selling sedans, Honda continues this trend of success with the 2015 Accord. Appealing to a tough critic – family drivers – is not something that’s accomplished with ease, although Honda sure makes it look that way. There are numerous factors that go into constructing a car that drivers will consider safe, dependable and economical, yet Honda accounts for all of them. The 2015 Accord serves up luxurious and intelligent interior design that oozes with sophisticated simplicity. Honda has borrowed plenty of design cues from the likes of the Ford Fusion and several other competitors, but you will still find more than a few nods to the graceful, upright look of the older Accords. Admittedly, the manufacturer hasn’t do anything grandiose in terms of cabin space for this year, but it’s spacious enough. The major issue here is that the rear seats still get a little tight if you try to cram three adults back there, so you may want to avoid that. The Accord does make up for this misstep with a flat cargo floor and 15.8 cubic feet of space.

As mentioned above, the 2015 Honda Accord may be a bit questionable when fitting three grownups in the back seats. But, the car is perfectly suited for a growing family, and it does leave a fantastic impression with a lot of headroom and leg space, delivering comfort for short commutes and long trips alike. For a midsize sedan, the Accord’s comfort level is on par with its rivals. Standard amenities, such as dual-zone automatic climate control, make the car even very accommodating regardless of the weather outside.
3. Responsive Handling
The 2015 Honda Accord’s precise handling and dazzling performance offer drivers an engaging experience behind the wheel. It’s by no means as sporty as the Nissan Altima, but it’s still impressive, holding its own on the road. The crisp handling is an empowering aspect, and the 2015 Accord is a great confidence builder for experienced and new drivers alike.

Even if you choose the gasoline-powered Accord over the Accord Hybrid, you will still be getting extraordinary gas mileage. The base four-cylinder model can get up to 35 mpg on highways, 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg combined. If you were to choose the 3.5-litre V6, you’d still get a terrific 26 mpg combined.
5. Top Safety Ratings
All 2015 Accords come with a reassuring package of safety features that include rearview camera, antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, active front head restraints, front seat side airbags and side curtain airbags. According to the government crash testing, the sedan has earned 5 out of 5 stars for overall protection, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it the best possible rating of “Good.”
6. Lots of Features
Not often recognized for its list of features, Honda has done an apt job of equipping the latest Accord with desirable features that make the experience more comfortable and convenient. One noticeable standard feature is the ability to sync up your devices with the vehicle’s onboard computer, ensuring that the driver and passengers have access to all kinds of functions. Still, some of the more attractive features require upgrades, such as the available secondary touchscreen for audio and Bluetooth streaming, which is available on the EX-L model and higher.
7. Excellent Value
The value factor is perhaps the most resounding reason to buy the Honda Accord. With a $24,050 MSRP, the vehicle is synonymous with affordable consistency. For over three decades, Honda has written the formula for designing dependable family vehicles. While the Accord won’t win any awards for opulence or athleticism, it is a top contender in numerous other areas that everyday drivers acknowledge. Comparable with the Hyundai Sonata, another value-packed vehicle, the Honda Accord is a fantastic choice that should not be overlooked when car shopping.
